Spiders Control

Dangerous spiders can have the biggest impact on the health of your family so we take it very seriously. Even if a spider isn’t life-threatening, we know that peace-of-mind is important and we take extra care to eliminate them.

Exterior Management
Spider management begins with appropriate management of the immediate environment. By removing or limiting harbourage areas we reduce the number of spiders that will be able to build up on our property, whether ground or webbing spiders. Webbing spider populations will also increase with the volume of food available.

If we can reduce the number of flying insects attracted to our homes we will impact the spider population. Replacing conventional exterior lighting with non-insect-attracting yellow lights will have an impact on insect attraction and so food volumes and therefore on the development of webbing spider populations around the property.

Interior Management
One of the best forms of spider management on the inside, or even outside, of a house is vacuuming. This process removes the spider, any eggs and the web all at the same time.
